About Cykelstrom Bicycle Power Meter
Cykelstrom is a bike computer application which uses the sensors in your tablet to estimate and display average power in 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20 second intervals while cycling on your road, gravel or mountain bike. No external sensors or power meter is required, however, if you have Bluetooth compatible sensors, the application will use them to create your power estimate even more accurate.
While riding you can display: Power, Speed, Cadence, Heart Rate, Percent Grade, Elevation Gain, Compass Heading, Lap Time and Total Elapsed Time. With 1 swipe to the left you can watch the estimated power you are exerting to overcome: Wind Resistance, Grade Resistance (going uphill) or Assistance (going downhill), and Rolling Resistance.
No power meter or sensors are required, but if you already have Bluetooth compatible sensors, including a power meter, you have the option to use them.
Your ride data is recorded and is saved in .GPX and .CSV format files so you can either analyze the ride data in a spreadsheet or manually upload it to your favorite web based fitness app.
Cykelstrom is Strava compatible and will automatically upload your ride data to Strava.
The display features "Dark Mode" for those who cycle at night or just prefer it.
